Belinda的全名Belinda Peregrín Schull1989年8月15日(终战纪念日)出生于西班牙的马德里。她在4岁时就和她的家人一起移居到墨西哥并居住到现在。可以说Belinda在非常早的时候，就在歌唱，表演和制作家庭影片等等方面表现出令人难以置信的才华的，并为以后打开乐坛生涯的大门预留了钥匙。
10岁时就主演了一部名为《Amigos por siempre》的电视连续剧，同时，BMG为她发行了这张同名专辑。随着电视剧的热播，专辑也销往拉丁美洲及其他地区。
11岁那年，Belinda又主演了她的第二部电视剧《Aventuras en el Tiempo》。同样的，Belinda也为电视剧献唱了，并灌录专辑销往世界各地。
一年一部戏，12岁的Belinda又主演了第三部电视剧《Cómlices al Rescate》。BMG也为其发行了同名专辑。剧中Belinda一人分饰两角：一对双胞胎——一个穷一个富。精湛的演技使Belinda成为当时炙手可热的一线演员，而随之而出的专辑也取得了相当好的销量。之后电视剧也被广为传播，美国、拉丁美洲、西班牙的观众都能看到Belinda的演出，转播频道超过160个，观众人数超过180万人。
在即将要庆祝自己14岁生日前，Belinda发行了自己的第一张正式专辑《Belinda》，专辑一经面世便取得了80万张的好销量。之后因出演电视剧所积聚的人气在她的巡回演出上得以爆发了，每场演出都几乎爆满。不可思议的是有1500000人参加了她的120个现场表演。其中名为《Fiesta en la Azotea》（屋顶的盛会）的现场更是轻松突破10万人！
她所收获的不少奖项与纪录在对于14岁的女孩来说是无法想象的。Belinda如此高的人气也为她带去了许多荣耀——MTV的肯定、出色的演技、白金销量的唱片，同时许多品牌也开始邀请Belinda作代言人——LG、Office Depot、Coca-cola。
2006年，Belinda应Disney的邀请出演了电视剧《Cheetah Girls 2》，作为Disney所看重的一部重要的电视剧，Belinda的卖力演出也为该剧取得很好的收视率，全世界超过100个国家能同时观看到这部电视剧。
Carpe Diem is the name of the third solo studio album from Mexican singer and actor Martin, set to be released on March 23, 2010 through Capitol Latin. The album has a mixture of Electropop, Dance-pop as well as a different sound to his previous albums. The album was released March 12, 2010 in canadian iTunes by mistake, which lead to a mass leak over the internet and popular video site YouTube. The album was taken off from iTunes later that same day.
The album name is a Latin phrase meaning “Seize the Day” coined by the Roman poet Horace. The released date was originally November 24, 2009, later Martin confirmed on his Twitter that the release date was postponed from November 24, 2009 to March 23, 2010.
The album will include 11 tracks composed by himself and would be a change in his musical styles heard on his previous album, Utopía. Also said, it will include a song titled “Cuida de Mí” written for his late grandfather, who died in 2008. The album has confirmed contributions from songwriters Jimmy Harry and Nacho Peregrin and producers Aureo Baqueiro and Carlos Jean, as well as Martin himself, who is accredited as composer, image coordinator and executive producer of the album.
